Bitcoin Universe: Why I Started Covering It Daily
3 Top Stories. Every Weekday. Under 3 Minutes.
I’ve hesitated to share this.
Not because I doubt the work — I’m all-in on it. But because I wasn’t sure how it would be received.
Bitcoin can be polarizing. People hear the word and jump to conclusions:
“Is he chasing the next shiny object?”
“Is this a pivot?”
“Is he trying to be a crypto influencer now?”
The truth is, I came into Bitcoin with curiosity — but also with fear. I could easily rattle off the reasons why I thought it was too risky and something I’d never really understand.
But the more I followed the financial, political, and technological news, the more I came to take Bitcoin seriously. Not because of the hype, but because of what I saw happening in the real world:
Major institutional investors began adding Bitcoin to their balance sheets
Governments started holding Bitcoin in their treasuries and considering regulatory frameworks
Central banks continued pushing monetary policies that sparked inflation, debt, and long-term uncertainty
And when I saw these trends accelerating — not slowing — I realized this wasn’t just a passing phase. The signal grew stronger, and I started listening.
I didn’t see anything like what I needed:
There were videos for beginners
Thought leadership articles for insiders
And endless opinions flying across social media
But nowhere to track the day’s top Bitcoin stories, cut through the noise, and gain context on what it all means. And do it all within 2-3 minutes.
So I built it.
Along the way, I’ve learned a little, invested a little, and committed fully to showing up daily — not as a pundit or promoter, but as someone who wants to track what matters and help others make sense of it, too.
Covering Bitcoin isn't a departure — it’s a continuation of what I’ve always done: shining a light on the digital trends that shape how we create, connect, and monetize.
📩 Subscribe to the Bitcoin Universe newsletter and podcast right here on Substack for weekday updates that cut through the noise and help you track what matters. Your next update will come later today.
I’ll keep it short, clear, and grounded — so you get what matters without the noise.
If you’ve been curious about Bitcoin but unsure where to start — or if you’re already in it but tired of the hype — I invite you to give it a look.
I’m Ross Brand — tracking what matters in Bitcoin and helping you make sense of it.
